Glenribbeen Eco Lodge Bed and Breakfast and wheelchair accessible Self-Catering is in West County Waterford, is located between Lismore (3kms) and Cappoquinn (2kms) on the N72, in the heart of Ireland’s most picturesque region. 240m from the River Blackwater famous for it’s trout and salmon fishing. We offer 3 bedrooms en-suite B&B and a self-catering apartment that sleeps 5-7 persons and is designed to facilitate wheelchairs.

Set in the rolling wooded countryside at the foot of the beautiful Knockmealdown mountain’s, Glenribbeen lodge offers traditional and alternative menu’s. Wherever possible all vegetables are grown organically usually on the farm behind the lodge. It is a modern house with great views from all windows and Glenribbeen Lodge has a non-smoking policy.

Glenribbeen has won Europe’s top ecological award last June (2009) The E.U. Green Flower Award as well as the Georgina Campbell “Good Food” Award. Peter was also nominated for the Fáilte Ireland Tourism Enterprise Award for his work with eco-tourism.
Peter also offers free music lessons for any guest that wishes “to have a go”. There are regular music sessions in the immediate area and Dungarvan is but 15mins away to sample music most nights of the week. FaceBook have a page for Irish music;
